Philippines!

Landed a couple of days ago in philippines, even thou the plane sounded so strange..
We where stuck on the airport in Manilla for five hours and I can tell for sure that there is nothing at all you can do there in five hours.. Went for some food but the only place that seemed to have that was closed.. So, nothing to do about that..

Took the other flight to Boracay, managed to find a nice place in the middle of the White beach called Villa Simprosa. It was nice, except that the hot water in the shower worked whenever it wanted it to.

The first days in Boracay it was cloudy and rained a little bit. But the other days it was ok, sunny and warm. We did some different things, like Kite surfing and went on a sailing trip. For my part the Sailing was the best of it, cause I could not afford the kite surfing so I ended up taking pictures and waiting for the others..

Oh we did meet up with some swedes that we meet in Hongkong on new years, haha funny. And after some days of get the curage we explored the local food Balut, It is a egg with a duck embryo inside.. Looks sooo weird, AND people eat it.. Taste like chicken was one comment i heard. We did NOT eat it, but we opened it and took some pics on it :D

But I wanna surf, so now we are here, In La Union, San fernandes.. Surfed today but the waves where messy and inregular.. And there where not as step as I wanted.. Better luck tmw maybe..

Gonna surf another spot tmw with some locals, not so satisafied with the board i found but cant find any better one either! :D

No possibilities to upload any pics cause i did not bring my computer.. :(

In China

It takes About 40 min with the mtr and then you there... In China, just like that. But that is of course if you allready are in Hongkong. As decribed earlier it has been crazy, somethings are hard to imagine but when considering that I just visited a town that has 12 million citizens, Sweden have 9 million in the whole country... that is crazy, and it is probably some answers of these things.

Well we had our last day on in china today since ägget/strecket/gluggen had to catch a flight to get back to Sweden. So we woke up kind of early when consideration of that we had a full body massage that ended 4 in the morning. Had told them to wake us up so I woke up of the sound of some chinese women trying to have a conversation with me on chinese... Got up by 10!

Relaxed for a while on the Spa then headed in to the shopping mall for doin some more haggle and to pick up some clothes at the tailor we had ordered... The highlight with the travell from the Spa to the shopping mall was probably the best highlight of the day...

We travelled with style, in a Rolls Royce... That was freaaaakin awsome. And the price for goin with it where crazy cheap. We where three people and payed 1 euro each... Hey what happened!!! Satisfied with that we did our final shopping and then headed back to Hongkong...

Try to highlight the visit with some pics.. enjoy!

Inside Paradise

I could easy say that I could spend alot of time on the place I am now. Gonna give ya a short briefing.

So, spended the christmas in Koh Tao and got back on the travelling track the 29:th of Dec. The goal was to reach Hongkong and visit my friend Jesper who have been doin an exchange semester there aswell. So left Koh Tao 16.00, arrived around 4 in the morning to Bangkok. Walked around with no clue of what to do 4 in th morning. I must have looked kind of lost cause all of sudden two Thai girls where asking me where I was heading. I did no one place I wanted to go to and drop off my bag so I told them where I wanted to go. They helped me find the way, really kind of them.. One of them got tired and went home but after I dropped my bag we went for a really early breakfeast. After the strange but nice breakfeast soup I went back to the place I have dropped off my bags. Did not wanna take a room for a couple of hours sleep so I ordered a coke and took place in one of their nice couches.. Tired as I was I fell asleep.
Did a day in bangkok that included a thaimassage and some struggeling around trying to find new sandals since mine got stolen in Koh Tao... Did not find any!

Went to the airport by 14 and got the flight to Hk 16.30, landed around 20 in Hk.. Meet up with jesper and went for some sushi as dinner. He had arranged living allready so did not have to bother about that. But it was the most expensive living so far but the cheapest and most dangerous in Hk. But it was ok, stayed for New years. Which was crazy.. So fun.

From Hk it is really easy to just take the MTR to get to China, and so we did. Payed around 3,5 euro for the MTR trip and about 15 euro for the visa and then I was there. In China, just like that.

Jesper had heard about an 24- hours open Spa he wanted to go to, And after some shopping in a 5-floor crazy cheap and big shopping mall we went for the SPA.

And this place, IS hard to describe with words. But I can try...
We pay 9,8 euro for 24-hours on the spa. This includes, They store your luggage on arrival, you hav free acess to the sauna and the pool area, they have an amazing relax area that is 3000sqm. In the relax area you can play pool, tabletennis, watch movies, as much free fruit and juice and ice creams as you want. Then it is also included super nice relax chairs and if you dont wanna sleep/rest in them you can get a bed to rest in. And I dont lie when I tell you that the chairs amd the bed is among the most comfortable I have visited with my body the last 6-months. Really really nice... Oh and did I say I only pay 9,8 euro for this!!!

That was among some of the thing that where included in the entrance fee, of course their is alot of different massages to get and other treatment that makes you feel like a new human being. And it is not expensive at all. This place is easy to get stuck in, you walk around in an outfit that looks like an pyjamas and all the time their is people who ask you if they can help you with anything. It feels sometimes like their is more people working here then there is customers. And I think their is, you are almost not allowed to put your clothes on to yourself. Crazy but nice. I like it...

Well hard to describe it with words, check out some pictures of it on http://www.queenspa.cn/
Could not see if there was any explanation on english but look on the pictures.. NICE!!! :D

Koh Tao.. Christmas!

Some updates from the sunny and nice Koh Tao..

Christmas on the Beach: Yesterday it was christmas, there where hard to believe it but it was a little sense of it in the air... People where wearing the red top hat as usual, so i feeling that it was christmas where there but... different!

Woke up really early in the morning, have started a Open water diving course which means that i will get a diving license. So the alarm went of 6 in the morning and it was time to try and find some breakfeast, there where impossible to find some rice pudding in 7-eleven which was the only place that was open. After this we meet up with our diving instructor and started to collect the gear we needed for the day, packed the stuff up in a boat and went away..

We did two open water dives, we had started the course the day before so we had allready made the shallow water training that includes some exercises that are good to do before you go into deeper water. I have made some fun dives before so i felt comfortable, and the dives where sooo FUN.

After the diving we had a small academic which means we had answered on some homework questions and we went through them with our instructor, after this we watched a diving information movie and then we where free for the rest of the day.

So on the schedule where to try and find some food and then just enjoy the rest of the night. We where told that it was gonna be christmas party on the beach so to join that was what we did. Had a fun night but it was a strange way of celebrating christmas on...

Some pics from Koh Tao so far... More is comin

Christmas on the beach

Yepp, first time ever.. Feels kind of weird that it is christmas tmw.. But im kind of happy to be on the nice and calm island Koh Tao in thailand. We arrived reaaally early this morning, after a bus trip on lets se.. first 4 hours from Vangvieng to Vientiane in Laos, then a 12 hours bustrip from Vientiane to Bangkok Thailand, wait for some hours then a new bustrip across the whole thailand to Chumpton on around 7 hours...

Waited 6 hours in Chumpton for the night ferry over to koh tao, the ferry ride took 6 hours and we arrived here 5 in the morning, and with no accommondation arranged we had to wait until 8 when the most of the places opened...

But im happy, spend around 30 - 35 euro on the ride all the way from Laos to Koh Tao Thailand.. It is cheap travelling with the local buses, and actually the local buses in thailand are like paradise comparing to the buses in Laos and Cambodja..

Today there where no time for rest, I so badly have wanted to have a diving license for such a long time that when I now are in divers paradise decided even though i barely afford it to get one, so half this day had been some teory.. the rest of the day have been shallow water training, basic stuff that i allready tried but good practise. Tmw will be the first two dives of the total for included in the courses so we have to get up early and get away with the boat..

I mean im in Koh tao, and tao means turtle so might see some of those around the island who knows..

So reletives, I might wish i get some money in christhmas present so i dont have to go home earlier then expected.. :D

Pictures will come, promise!
